We have loved our experiences in the traditional program with two of our children and are excited for our third to start next year! We were initially drawn to the welcoming, loving environment with a strong curriculum. We really liked that while the teaching method was more traditional, Montessori principles were applied within the classroom (ex toy/activity layout and making choices). I also appreciate that while it is a group focused approach, we have found that the teachers are really good at meeting the child where they are academically and challenging appropriately.

It has been a remarkable 11-year run at the Villa - starting in Montessori in the Manor House. The Villa has provided the backdrop for many of your firsts: sacramental preparation, homework, lockers, community service, school governments, clubs, and perhaps your favorite, school athletics. We realized that one of the things that made our collective journey here at the Villa so special was the people had the opportunity to interact with along the way: the teachers and assistants, administration and staff, and the coaches. We are so fortunate to have had the benefit of their dedication, thoughtfulness, and passion. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to go to the Villa. The Villa not only educated me but also taught me life lessons. (1 Cor 12:12-13) Like the body of Christ, the many members of St. Ursula Villa form one body and we are grateful to all: to Mother Fidelis Coleman and the 20 sisters who arrived in Cincinnati years ago and began the mission of educating children in the Ursuline tradition; all the Ursuline sisters who followed; the current Board of Trustees and administration; all the teachers who challenge, inspire, and guide our children; the office staff who always greet us with a smile; those who keep the facilities so beautiful; the parents who share their time and love with the school; and all the children and youth who are the joy of the community. We are so grateful to the Villa community for welcoming our family when we moved to Cincinnati. It is hard to start over in a new state and new school, but we feel like we have been part of this community for much longer than 3 years. We have been impressed with Villa teachers who clearly care for the students' wellbeing as well as their academic achievements.
