• We have been constantly impressed with the support and affection from the teachers and staff in the Montessori program (as well as the rest of the Manor House). We initially didn't know much about Montessori but we have seen our son make huge strides in the program. He is more cooperative and self-sufficient, his interpersonal relationships have really blossomed, and he has been more affectionate with us at home, too.

• We have loved our experiences in the traditional program with two of our children and are excited for our third to start next year! We were initially drawn to the welcoming, loving environment with a strong curriculum. We really liked that while the teaching method was more traditional, Montessori principles were applied within the classroom (ex toy/activity layout and making choices). I also appreciate that while it is a group focused approach, we have found that the teachers are really good at meeting the child where they are academically and challenging appropriately.

We give the Villa 5 stars in this category. Teacher education and length of tenure (low turnover) is also very important to us. We have been very happy with our 3 years in Montessori. Our teachers are top notch and work as a team to create a great environment for the kids.

  It has been a remarkable 11-year run at the Villa - starting in Montessori in the Manor House. The Villa has provided the backdrop for many of your firsts: sacramental preparation, homework, lockers, community service, school governments, clubs, and perhaps your favorite, school athletics. We realized that one of the things that made our collective journey here at the Villa so special was the people had the opportunity to interact with along the way: the teachers and assistants, administration and staff, and the coaches. We are so fortunate to have had the benefit of their dedication, thoughtfulness, and passion. In one way or another, each one of them has positively contributed to your success at the Villa and for that, we are immensely grateful.

  Thank you for giving me the opportunity to go to the Villa. The Villa not only educated me but also taught me life lessons. The Villa taught me to always be kind to others and develop my leadership skills. This school also helped me to strengthen my relationship with God through attending and serving at school masses. I am also so fortunate that I got to be a part of Chi Alpha Omega to brighten people's day. I could not have asked for a better school to teach me life skills that I will take into high school.

  "There is one body, but it has many parts. But all its many parts make up one body. It is the same with Christ. We were all baptized by one Holy Spirit. And so we are formed into one body." (1 Cor 12:12-13) Like the body of Christ, the many members of St. Ursula Villa form one body and we are grateful to all: to Mother Fidelis Coleman and the 20 sisters who arrived in Cincinnati years ago and began the mission of educating children in the Ursuline tradition; all the Ursuline sisters who followed; the current Board of Trustees and administration; all the teachers who challenge, inspire, and guide our children; the office staff who always greet us with a smile; those who keep the facilities so beautiful; the parents who share their time and love with the school; and all the children and youth who are the joy of the community.   We are so grateful to the Villa community for welcoming our family when we moved to Cincinnati. It is hard to start over in a new state and new school, but we feel like we have been part of this community for much longer than 3 years. We have been impressed with Villa teachers who clearly care for the students' wellbeing as well as their academic achievements. The Villa focuses on grooming each student for acceptance into the high school of his/her choice and we know our graduate is well prepared for success!

  As our family departs from St. Ursula Villa, we want to thank the teachers, staff, administrators, and community for truly answering our prayers for a great environment to educate our kids. Coming to the Villa was a big change for our family and we did so with some trepidation. It was one of the best decisions we've ever made.   Graduation is here and as the year is ending, I want to thank you for everything you have done for me. Thanks you for sending me to an amazing school, I have had the best experience ever. When I started in Kindergarten, I was a shy girl who didn't want to talk to anyone. Now thanks to the Villa, I feel like I am able to speak my mind and I have made so many friends here. Throughout my experience, I have learned so much and can honestly say I am prepared for high school. My favorite thing about the Villa is the welcoming environment and friendly atmosphere.   Thank you so much for providing me with the blessing of going to St. Ursula Villa. In those ten years, I have not only learned so much, but I have met my best friends. My teachers and peers have nurtured me, inspired me, and made me who I am today. Ten years is a long time, but my ten years at the Villa flew by thanks to the fun times and experiences I have taken part in. Those include field trips, May Party, retreats, camps, and so much more. I am forever grateful for being able to go to a school that truly cares about my education. I have full confidence that the Villa has fully prepared me for high school. When I look back on my time at the Villa, I will remember how much I have been challenged, but also encouraged to always do my very best.
